# New Relic NerdGraph Connector

## Intro

The New Relic is a software analytics tool suite. Use Domo's New **Relic NerdGraph** connector to pull your GraphQL query data into Domo.

This article explains the fields and menus specific to the New Relic NerdGraph connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Prerequisites

To connect to New Relic NerdGraph and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

* Your New Relic NerdGraph account's Data Center.
* Your New Relic NerdGraph account's API Key.

## Connecting to New Relic NerdGraph

This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the New Relic NerdGraph Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your New Relic NerdGraph account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Field </span></p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Description </span></p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Data Center </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Select the data center from the drop-down list. </p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> API Key </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Enter the New Relic account's API Key. </p></td></tr></tbody></table>

Once you have entered valid New Relic NerdGraph credentials, you can use the same account any time to create a new New Relic NerdGraph DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Managing User Accounts for Connectors](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926054 "Managing User Accounts for Connectors").

## Details Pane

In this pane you can create a GraphQL query to pull the data from your database.

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Menu </p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Description </p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span dir="ltr"> GraphQL Query </span></p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p /><span dir="ltr"> Enter the NerdGraphQL query. <a href="https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/apis/nerdgraph/get-started/nerdgraph-explorer/" target="_blank" title="Help Link"> Help Link </a> can be found here. </span><p /></td></tr></tbody></table>

## Other Panes

For information about the remaining sections of the connector interface, including how to configure scheduling, retry, and update options, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US).
