# Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector

## Intro

Dynamics 365 Business Central provides a comprehensive view of your business, delivering real-time insights on every operational aspect. It streamlines processes across departments such as finance, sales, inventory, manufacturing, project management, and so on. This connector enables you to retrieve data from Dynamics 365 Business Central and load into Domo for analysis and visualization. The connector allows you to select any Business Central entity that has been exposed to web services to retrieve data. You can also schedule the data to be updated at regular intervals.

You can connect to your Dynamics 365 Business Central account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Dynamics 365 Business Central connector user interface. To add add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Connecting to Your Dynamics 365 Business Central Account

This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Dynamics 365 Business Central account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Field </span></p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Description </span></p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Microsoft Entra ID </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Enter the Microsoft Entra ID. </p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Client ID </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Navigate to <b><a href="http://portal.azure.com" rel="noopener" target="_blank"> portal.azure.com </a></b> > <b> Azure Active directory </b> > <b> App registrations </b>. Find and click the web app. The Application ID from the web app is the client id. </p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Client Secret </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Navigate to <b><a href="http://portal.azure.com" rel="noopener" target="_blank"> portal.azure.com </a></b> > <b> Azure Active directory </b> > <b> App registrations </b>. Find and click the web app. Go to <b> settings </b> > <b> Keys, </b> and create <b /> the client secret. </p></td></tr></tbody></table>

Once you have entered valid Dynamics 365 Business Central credentials, you can use the same account any time to create a new Dynamics 365 Business Central DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Managing User Accounts for Connectors](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926054?language=en_US "Managing User Accounts for Connectors").

## Details Pane

This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Menu </p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Description </p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"> Entities </td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"> Select the entity to retrieve data. </td></tr></tbody></table>

## Other Panes
