# Twilio Advanced Connector

## Intro

Twilio is a cloud communications company that allows developers to programmatically make and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages using its web service APIs. You can use the Domo Twilio Advanced connector to retrieve data on accounts, calls, conferences, notifications, SMS messages, and usage records. The Twilio Advanced connector is a "Cloud App" connector, meaning it retrieves data stored in the cloud. In the Data Center, you can access the connector page for this and other Cloud App connectors by clicking **Cloud App** in the toolbar at the top of the window.

This advanced version of the Twilio connector differs from the standard version in that it lets you retrieve data for a selected date or date range, whereas the standard version does not. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Twilio Advanced connector user interface. ## Prerequisites

To connect to your Twilio account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

* A Twilio account SID.
* A Twilio auth token.

You can find both of these items in your Twilio account settings page, in the **API Credentials** section. ## Connecting to Your Twilio Account

This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Twilio Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](/s/article/360042926274 "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

### Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Twilio account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

After you have entered valid Twilio credentials, you can use the same account in Domo any time you create a Twilio DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. ### Details Pane

This pane contains a primary **Report** menu in which you select a report type, as well as other fields and menus that appear, depending on the selected report.
