You connect to your Asana account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Asana connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](/s/article/360042926274). ## Prerequisites To connect to your Asana account and create a DataSet, you must have the personal access token associated with your Asana account.. ## Connecting to Your Asana Account This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Asana Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet,** are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](/s/article/360042926274). ### Credentials Pane This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Asana account. The following table describes what is needed for each field: | Field | Description | | --------------------- | --------------------------------------- | | Personal Access Token | Enter your Asana personal access token. | Once you have entered valid Asana credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Asana DataSet. You can manage Connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Managing User Accounts for Connectors](/s/article/360042926054). ### Details Pane This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select. If you select the "Tasks" report, a "Subreport" menu appears from which you may select a secondary report.

Select the Asana report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Report Description
Attachments This report pulls your asana attachments for a specified workspace.
Custom Fields This report pulls your asana custom fields for a specified workspace.
Goals This gets detail Goals record for all Goals associated with the selected workspace.
Parent Goals This gets detail Parent Goals records for all Goals associated to a selected workspace.
Projects This report gets all projects in a workspace.
Stories This report gets all stories in a workspace
Subgoals This gets detail Subgoals records for all Goals associated to a selected workspace.
Subtasks This report gets all subtasks in a workspace
Supporting Work This gets detail Supporting Work records for all Goals associated to a selected workspace.
Tags This report gets all tags made on all tasks in a workspace.
Tasks This report gets all tasks in a workspace.
Teams This report gets all teams in a workspace.
Users This report gets all users on a workspace
Workspaces This gets all workspaces for a client.

Select the desired subreport for the "Tasks" report. The following subreports are available:

Custom Fields This report gets all tasks in a workspace enhanced with custom fields data.
Followers This report gets all tasks in a workspace enhanced with followers data.
Hearts This report gets all tasks in a workspace enhanced with hearts data.
Memberships This report gets all tasks in a workspace enhanced with memberships data.
Projects This report gets all tasks in a workspace enhanced with task projects.
Workspace Select the workspace you want to retrieve data for.
